Marv is a seasoned psychotherapist with 40 years of experience. He realizes that the people who come to see him have somehow lost a sense of connection to their heart and their creative self. That inner dis-ease causes a host of problems that interfer with living a good life. When all efforts have been expended to resolve that loss of connection to self, then therapy is often a good place to turn. The kind of problems Marv can help with.
  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • The loss of a loved one
  • Lack of direction in life
  • Post Traumatic stress problems
  • Problems with people at work, school or home
  • Physical problems that the doctor says "are all in your head"
  • Trying to evaluate what to do about a problem in life or in a relationship
  • Dealing with difficult people
  • Recovering from a divorce
  • Difficulties with children
Marv is available to meet to discuss your questions. He has worked with thousands of people exploring these and other issues. Though he is experienced in many different therapeutic styles, he will tailor his work to your unique needs. He brings to the work a wealth of training in family and individual therapy, psychodrama, Bioenergetics, Gestalt therapy, hypnotherapy, EMDR as well as extensive training in classical psychodynamic theory and practice. He trained with Fritz Perls and Virginia Satir among many others. Though Marv does not do spiritual counseling he brings 30 years of experience as an active meditator to the conversation.
